Festivities in honor to Bella Virgin and St. Roque

Its origins is from XIX century, when the town was granted a fair which later lost its commercial aim to preserve its funny Festival. Held on August, 14th,15th, 16th. On 15th, Virgin Bella go out by procession accompanied by thousand of people from Lepe. On 16th, Lepe´s scout group put in procession to St. Roque, holy patron of Lepe. During holiday season a large festival takes place where there are plenty of musical performances, dancing on the popular houses and fairground attractions

Fried Fish Festival

Held in August in La Antilla beach, where you can taste the special dish, fried fish and shellfish, both typical dishes from local cuisine. All this is enlivened by musical performances.
